War and Peace is a Novel written by the Author Leo Tolstoy, It was published in the year 1869. It is considered as Tolstoy masterpiece and one of the greatest works of World Literature. The novel is set on the basis of Napoleonic Wars, the work is a combination of History and Philosophy.

It tells about the lives of several families who hold high social rank during that time. It shares the themes of love, war, and family.

4. The lliad

The lliad is a Book drafted by the ancient Greek Poet Homer, it is considered one of the oldest works of literature still widely read by modern audiences.

This Book tells the story of the Great Greek warrior Achillies, and this book tells about his rage and the destruction his rage has caused. The story also follows the Trojan warrior Hector and its efforts to fight to protect his family and his people. Achilles is the Hero of this story.

Achilles refused to fight in the war after being humiliated by his leader Agamemnon. But when Trojan Hector kills his close friend Patroclus, he comes back into the battle to take revenge, even though he knows this may cause his own death.

5. The Divine Comedy

The Divine Comedy is an legend poem written by the Author Poet Dante Alighieri, the book was drafted in the early 14th century and it has made a significant impression on the western culture and is also considered as one of the finest works of World Literature.

This poem tells the story of Dante’s journey through the three elements of eternity: Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise. Dante encounters both real and fictional characters and witness their punishments and rewards according to their actions in life.
